2019 Canadian Election afterthought

So on Oct 21 2019 17 million people voted out of the total of 27 million who had the right to vote. The results were a Liberal minority government.

Now many people may not like the results, no party truly has power. From my point of view this is not the worst it could be, now all the parties can keep the party in power in check. Justin Trudeau’s liberals cannot just do whatever they want without getting help from another party in parliament.

Backroom deals will be hard to do as long as 178 MPs decided the bill is bad and turn to the opposition during the vote.

So now we will just have to wait until the liberals collapse during a budget or a non-confidence vote in the future. hopefully the Canadian voter will have some time to rest and get over voter fatigue, but with next year bringing the US Presidential election that does not seem likely for a while.

Jaws out.
