So I get up on a soapbox and talk about the Alberta 2019 election which voting will happen on April 16th.  I also discuss the Epic Game store and how they are buying exclusives like Borderlands 3.  This leads to the talk on piracy that the fragmentation of digital sources for media and games might soon cause. So it has been a while, and I cover a few things, lets list them: Calgary Olympic bid plebiscite, Ace combat 7, Nintendo’s new version of the Switch being released in 2019, Stardew Valley, California Wildfires, Canada’s marijuana problems post legalization, and finally the worst year to be alive in human history. Not the longest episode but I feel like you all deserve something since September 26. More soon.

So stuff in my work life has been pretty busy since the middle of September, and things look like they might be quieting down. Because of this work Stories from the Crisper Drawer had suffered almost 50 days of no new content. So this week I will be posting an episode, mostly about stuff from earlier in life, when I was a kid. Hopefully that will answer some questions, but also cause more questions to be asked.

Things have been busy outside of the fridge and it has slowed down at the crisper drawer. Anyway we talk about Military procurement and why civilians in the government need to be well informed during procurement processes. The new Nvidia graphics card hits the market and I am holding off buying it because of these guys and their review. The KC-46 is almost part of the USAF inventory, which is cool. Ace combat 7 is looking awesome, both from the regular mode and the VR mode. My take on the ongoing Calgary olympic bid and why we need to stop. and Finally Andrew WK came to town, and it was one awesome show.

So Finally episode 15 is released. I cover 3d printed guns again, as well as gun control proposals in Canada after some terrible shootings. A foray into the social media deplatforming of Alex Jones and Gavin Mcinnes and why alternative less centralized options may be the future. A small talk about Far Cry 5 and the upcoming Shemue I and II release.
